We seek a Golang Engineer with a product mindset to join our Taxes team. The team is developing a tax platform designed to automate tax processes across various jurisdictions, ensuring accurate tax calculations for different product categories and seamless integration with financial and payment components.

You'll face ambitious challenges:

• Integration with various tax providers in the EU and US.
• Development of taxation mechanisms and their integration with other parts of our system: payment form, payment page, subscriptions, alternative payment API, card payment API, etc.
• Implementation of taxes for different product categories.
• Support of the current solution and development of new ones.
• Continuous improvement of architecture (idempotency, retries, async processing, observability, alerts), code review, services, and development approaches (TBD, CI/CD).

What you need to join us:

• At least 2 years of commercial experience in backend development
• 1,5+ years of experience in Golang
• Proficiency in PostgreSQL and RabbitMQ
• Proven track record with microservices
• Understanding of high-load system design principles
• Experience in code coverage with unit, integration, functional, and e2e tests
• A proactive, results-driven approach
• Initiative and strong decision-making skills
• A solid understanding of business processes

Preferred qualifications:

• Background in fintech or the financial sector
• Knowledge of Apache Kafka
• Familiarity with AWS, CI/CD
