About the Role

As a Senior Frontend Engineer on our Connectivity team, you’ll be responsible for the Payment Form and Payment Page — critical touchpoints used by millions of people daily, whose quality directly impacts our merchants’ revenue and success.

What you’ll be doing:

— Designing, documenting, and building new features with TypeScript/React

— Iteratively improving payment applications used by millions of customers daily

— Supporting integrations with major eCommerce platforms (e.g., Shopify)

— Adding new global payment methods to the Payment Form (Klarna and beyond)

— Contributing to a new major version of our public API

— Writing unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to keep quality high

— Monitoring performance, enhancing reliability, and supporting production at scale

— Reviewing code and sharing knowledge within the Frontend Guild

What you’ll need:

— 5+ years of commercial experience building applications with TypeScript/React

— Deep knowledge of browser internals, networking, and web performance

— Proven ability to design and implement systems outside of frameworks

— Strong understanding of SOLID, GRASP, and System Design principles

— Hands-on experience with automated testing (Unit/Integration/E2E)

— Proactive mindset and full ownership approach

Nice to have:

— Experience with Security, Observability and Public APIs

— Strong knowledge of React’s broader ecosystem (React Query, React Hook Form, Nx, Vite)

— Exposure to frontend beyond the web (mobile, smart TV, embedded apps)

— Ability to learn fast and adapt to new technologies
