We seek a motivated and decisive Node.js Engineer to join the Banking team. You’ll have the opportunity to contribute to a unique product at the beginning of its development.

This is a financial service that enables companies to make international payments and manage their finances efficiently through a user-friendly portal.

Key features include:

- Creating and viewing payments (SEPA, SWIFT, card transactions)

- Opening accounts and viewing balances

- Card payouts

Your area of responsibility:

1. Card Payouts

- Analyzing documentation of payment solutions and communicating with providers

- Defining requirements for cross-functional teams

- Integrating with services from other teams and external providers

2. Corporate Card Development

- Analyzing core banking documentation and aligning it with product requirements

- Developing an integration plan

- Integrating the solution into the banking service

3. Role and Access Management

- Enhancing the current role-based access system

- Adding role management functionality to the back office

- Expanding integration with the internal auth service

In addition:

- Improving existing Node.js services and development practices (CI/CD, alerts library, metrics library, Kafka library, etc.), monitoring, and logging

- Writing tests at different levels and applying the Shift Left testing approach

- Working with product and technical metrics

What you need:

• 2+ years of commercial experience in software development with a focus on backend
• At least 2 years of commercial development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Code coverage through testing is a must for you
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Nats
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Initiative and decision-making skills
• Proactive attitude and result-oriented mindset.

It will be a plus if you have:

• Experience working in the fintech or financial sector
• Pet projects using Go, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Experience with Amazon services
