We’re on the lookout for a motivated and decisive Node.js Engineer to join the Merchant Experience Team, which is responsible for maintaining and developing the product functionality of our web products, including the admin panel, onboarding section, and documentation.

Your Role:

• Working on the Onboarding service and enhancing Node.js expertise within the company
• Building new services in Node.js
• Improving existing Node.js services and development approaches (CI/CD, alerts library, metrics library, Kafka library, etc.), monitoring, and logging
• Writing tests at various levels and applying the Shift Left testing approach
• Working with metrics using Buf (gRPC)/REST, VictoriaMetrics, Loki, Terraform, and more.

What You Need:

•  5+ years of commercial experience in software development with a focus on backend
• At least 3 years of commercial development experience with Node.js and TypeScript
• Code coverage through testing is a must for you
• Experience working with relational databases like PostgreSQL or MySQL
• Experience with message brokers such as RabbitMQ, Kafka, or Nats
• Ability to work both in a team and independently
• Initiative and decision-making skills
• Proactive attitude and result-oriented mindset.

Bonus Points:

•  Experience working in the fintech or financial sector
• Pet projects using Go, Kotlin, or Java
• Experience with Docker and Kubernetes (K8s)
• Experience with Amazon services
